Wii U has 007 Legends? Thought it was only on 360/PS3.

Anyway, Wii U doesn't have five must buys for me within the launch window.

NSMB U looks good, but not must buy.
Nintendoland does not look all that great.
Mass Effect 3, Assassin's Creed III, Black Ops II, Fifa 13, Madden 13, Batman Arkham City, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 are available on 360/PS3, cheaper systems, and the games are just as good, and Fifa and Madden are actually better.

Can't say Pikmin 3 is a must buy, no online, graphics aren't next gen.

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is on the same tier as NSMBU, in my opinion. Good but not must buy.

Just Dance 4 is available on all other consoles, and is garbage anyway.

Wii Sing is shovelware.

The Wonderful 101 looks pretty bland and mediocre.

Lego City Undercover is just a kid oriented GTA clone, and who cares when GTA V is out next year, and not even on Wii U.

Monster Hunter Ultimate is the exact same as the 3DS version, just in 1080p.

Scribblenauts Unlimited is on 3DS, sure minus some minor things, but it's 10 or 20$ less.

Rayman Legends and Zombie U are the only must buys for me within the launch window, the kind of games I would buy on day 1 if I had the money.

why would pikmin 3 ever need online. Not every game needs online

Pikmin 3 has local multiplayer, give me one good reason why it shouldn't have online.

Its more fun to play with someone that you can see. The game was built for local multiplayer. Think about it , you wouldn't have the same fun or enjoyment playing Mario Party online now would you. Online gaming for this game simply dosen't suit it. Nintendo builds games like this to enjoy in the same room with someone else.
Besides the game would suffer from serious lag because of all of the pikmin (a 100 per player) running around. Nintendo would just emberase themselves putting online multiplayer in a game like this.

Guys, you have to realize there won't always be "people in the same room" to play with me.

And besides, with voice chat, you can effectively communicate with people online.

The Mario Party analogy is terrible, Pikmin is nothing like that game.

And if the Wii U really has next gen hardware, some little Pikmin on screen should not cause lag.

@NerdAndProud-You're right, but I already have a 3DS so I can just get the game for 40$.

For the Wii U version I need a Wii U, which is $300-350, plus the $60 game.

If you want me to buy a $300 system, there need to be some extremely good games waiting for me, and I mean extremely good.

@pika Im using mario party as an example in local multiplayer. Voice chat dosen't replace the presence of a real human being. If you lack people in the same room get more friends. Wii U is powerful enough to handle it but its really people's Internet speed that would cause the lag problem.

Wait a minute. It's not possible to play Black Ops 2 on an online match in both Wii U and X-Box. (meaning Wii U players can't play with X-Box) @mewtwo

@mewtwo21-But Pikmin is nothing like Mario Party.

@Nintendude-I got a 3DS two months after launch, and here's the key difference: The 3DS launch sucked, but we knew that great games like Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mario Kart 7, Kingdom Hearts DDD, and Resident Evil: Revelations were on the way, with the Wii U we are being kept in the dark.

Besides, the 3DS had Ocarina of Time 3D, Super Street Fighter IV 3D, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D within the first four months.

They are alike in the multiplayer aspect of the game. By which i meen the feeling you would get playing with someone in the same room as you. It wouldn't be the same playing pikmin online with some stranger compared to someone you know in the same room.

@Nintendude-Actually, the 3DS had a very strong launch sales wise, despite negative reviews for the games. It sold 3.6 million units in the first week.

What happened though was, from May until the price cut, sales tanked. Only 700,000 units were sold from April to June, and games like Dead or Alive: Dimensions flopped.

Sales spiked with the price drop, but the 3DS wasn't selling the way it is now until Super Mario 3D Land, sales were boosted a ton, and the 3DS has sold pretty well in NA since then.

It's still struggling in Europe though.
