May 31: There has been an announced trailer on the upcoming Monster Hunter 4 game, only being released on the 3DS, and according to it's graphics... it's kinda obvious enough. From what we seen of Monster Hunter Tri, it was turned to Monster Hunter 3, which was a remake made for the 3DS that soon hit the Wii U.

Personally I watch anime like Bleach, Sword Art Online, and Zero no Tsukaima (Familiar of Zero), so I would expect gameplay style being quick paced enough for me to enjoy. Which is the only reason I even use a Long Sword, cause it's as close as it can get. From what I know, Bigger weapons are slow, but it does take damage, while faster weapons take a lot, but hit multiple times. I would think that Faster is good, because if you can't get a strong hit in, a few multiple weak ones are better than nothing. Aside from my ranting, they have made a website just for Monster Hunter 4, but as you know, it's in Japanese. Clicking here will take you there.



What do you think of Monster Hunter 4? Do you think this one will have Online Capabilities? If so, would you consider buying this game for that reason, or only because you're a fan of it?

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate had online, of course the 4th would.

Each main installment has had online, and only a few spin-offs had minor online.

It will have online.

This thread was seriously just made yesterday!? I've known about this for over 6 months! The demo contains G. Jaggi, Tigrex(Probably one of the strongest flying wyvern since Gen2), and something called "Kechawacha". It's an orangish-purple lemur looking Pelagus-type. 2 new weapons, The insect staff, something which enables staff-like combat and you can steal energy from a monster with a bug. You get it as a starter weapon. The Charge Axe is another, an axe-morphing sword which releases explosive charges with certain combos. It releases Sept. 14 in Japan, I think, and has online capabilities.
