I think everyone reaches the attention-hog stage during their childhood, and some grow out of it...later...than others....(Not to say everyone who grows out of it wants to be ignored, they just don't fish for attention anymore)
Attention only lasts for so long. If you worship it you'll feel empty when it goes away. q:
AntiChrist (2014-02-06 03:03:32)I think for a short time I used to want to be a mod or something similar to that on a different website because I thought it would spark an increase in my popularity or attention, after I saw the the owner of the website would always have many people wanting to talk to him at once.
Based on that, I think most of the people wanting more rules are children. The ones more likely to have a desire to be a mod or anything above average as a user.

I don't see spamming anywhere. Every unacceptable topic is closed almost emmidiately. The amount of moderators we have, the short amount of time takes for them to see and get rid of topics, it's as good as it gets.
Why do people keep saying the system needs to improve? I know I'm not the only one who is at least mildly annoyed by this.
