Hello Everyone.

Recently I've been having a look at some threads in the forums and noticed that a lot of users and Forum Mods are being quite critical when its not needed.

If You do not like a post. There is no reason to have to comment a sly remark and saying that there was no need for this. Try and keep comments Constructive Criticism at least.

Imagination Time:
Imagine you posting something you thought was a great post, then users commenting on it with comments such as "This is not needed" "You did this a few days ago" and one most shocking "I want to close this but I have no legit reason to".

It is just plain rude and nasty.

Solution To a thread that's unnecessary:
PM A Forum Mod,
Tell A Chat Mods which is also A Forum Mod,
Wait Until A Forum Mod Comes Online (It Wont Take Long.)

All Im really trying to say is there is no need for comments like those that are purely unneeded and frankly rude.

Try and make comments as Constructive as possible and try to post something Constructive Criticism so that they learn something and Something Positive that they will feel good about.

This not only will make the forum poster happy but also will make the Forums A Better and more nicer place to be posting as users wont feel scared to post and get it closed with harsh comments.

Thanks For Reading and Please Consider this to yourselfs.

And Those Of You Who Post Something Rude and Remarkful in the comments below this thread, that is just frankly quite rude and is seemed as disrespect to others and is also breaking a rule so please get your act together.

Forum moderators can have opinions based on threads. It's not like the mod just swore like "fck dis stpd thd im clsn ds u r a dmb retrd omfg go dy in a hoe!!1!1"

Tbh I have no idea why people shouldn't comment close request. And the imagination time quotes weren't really rude. But one thing I do agree on, is that mods could be a bit nicer. Didn't want say this, but Spencer could be nicer when he unlocks threads.

@Jason: No I posted it because I felt like I would seem a peace freak hippy otherwise. And it is rude because Its mean and whatevers mean is rude. To be rude does not need to be swearing or the adult content. You parents should have taught you about it surely.

@Perfect_Chaos: I think they shouldn't because it is Mean. Again like in the imagination times you wouldn't like it if your posts were asking to be closed and had harsh comments like those ones. and the quotes are rude because they are mean. Same as my comment to jason. And I think that Not only mods but users aswell.

Close request is more of a vote to close threads, just because we're normal users doesn't mean we should be useless on the forums, and if you find these things mean, then explain instead of saying they're mean because they're rude.

Jason I want you to please find a forum thread I have done something mean and discriminative. and This is avoiding the point of the thread. This isn't constructive, Its just direct criticism.

and Perfect. You aren't useless on the forums. I gave a pacific way to notify a bad thread without having to ask for a close request. Close Requests just make people sad because people are trying to vote there work put into threads to be closed. Again look how you would feel in the situation.

My Grade/Age has no need to be in this topic. and Im a happy and peaceful person Who wont be discriminating because I want others to feel happy.

As of my experiences of creating threads, they all got harsh comments and close requests making me feel unhappy and sad. Which would most likely happen to others as it is quite saddening.

This is why I never would or it would be hypercritical.

The only reason why people say "Close Request!" is because some threads are either unnecessary or other reasons concerning how bad the thread might be. Threads that are useful get sticky requests by plenty of users. That's not being harsh unless they swear into their text.

I think I've said enough constructive stuff. I'm not avoiding the point of this thread, I get your point, but I'm also stating my point.

Your point is that you hate it when forum mods and regular users discriminate in one's thread, so you think of solutions to put a stop to it.

My point is that all forum mods have their own opinions on threads, we're all different. Saying stuff like "Close request" is not harsh unless you swear, and/or put it all in caps. Why not focus on someone's thread's point of view before you even say that saying "Close request" is plain rude?

Oh, and another thing, you should not feel dejected or insulted when people say "close request" because that is just an honest opinion. Opinions can be stupid sometimes. Also, bear in mind that you are reading this. Text may be deceitful because it is difficult to identity emotions being conveyed. What you think is rude might just be a blunt, troll-ish remark or something not intended to sound insulting at all. For example, if Spencer's comments sound smug, it might just be in your head. I'm sure he means no harm.
