In a recent interview with Miyamoto and some other dude, confirmed a new 2D (3DS) and 3D (Wii U) Metroid game will begin development!!

Are you excited? What do you hope to see on both versions? Leave thoughts!

Other M got very bad reviews, for sucking. Didn't you notice something was "off?" Like, the story, among other things. I haven't played the game, but people on the internet criticise that game a lot.

@Dalton It was a decent game, but I prefer the Prime games, Fusion, and Super Metroid

Now I can mess with my friend who loves metroid but doesn't have a 3ds or wiiu.
(Too bad I'll probably never get it on release)

Well, I'm disappointed. The DS has Metroid Prime Hunters. Nintendo's basically giving the 3DS the finger by using more capable tech to move a step backward. Unless it's a straight/enhanced port of Other M (which is more than likely not the case), Nintendo has lost my $40.

^Samus was a whiny girl in that game. While I did like the game, (holds the hate shield) They just ruin everything I love about her.
