The objective of positivity isn't to worsen things, even though sometimes it does. When you have a friend who is depressed, people will do many things just to make them feel better. It's sadistic to want to feel awful. No one is going to want their friends to be sad, so yes, they're going to do things to try to fix it, but it's not a completely selfish act as you make it seem. From the rest of the thread, I can make out that you dislike people getting their asses handed to them from inheritance, and I agree upon that, but with bias, since I am someone who is going to have to work and claw for everything.

AntiChrist (2015-04-15 20:34:40)I've had the harsh realisation at a very young age that someone can be absolutely perfect, do no wrong to others, and the one thing they ask for in life, no matter how small it is will be taken from them or kept away from them if the right person wishes it. The converse of this is also true. That "right person" will get exactly what he or she THINKS they deserve and they will feel like it is a sign that their actions are justified.
HOWEVER, (and I am getting to the point now) just because you should not believe that you are a good person if the universe seems to be rewarding you and vise versa, it does not mean you should believe that you are a good person just because bad things happen to you and vise versa. OP, you may not have as hard a life as you think. Making yourself the victim in your head will lead you down the wrong path.

Soon the innocents would do something that not a lot of people woul'd do and would be considered a psycho or something.
and in the other side there will be jerks who would have all the respect without trying, most of it is because of their looks. They dont need to worry about anything since they got what they wanted so early unlike someone who has to wait for a looooooooong time or may never going to happen, although they should be the ones who deserves it.
I hope this makes sense I just kinda wanna hear your thoughts about this if you kinda understand.
