Nutsy (2015-12-31 08:01:13)I'd buy a Steam Machine to play Nekopara in VR but I don't know how that'd look.

Crush42 (2015-12-31 08:07:31)I wouldn't mind getting one as long as I could play Skyrim (with mods, on high quality), Dead Or Alive 5 Last Round (with mods, on high quality), RealMyst Masterpiece Edition (on high quality, no mods needed), and VVVVVV (heck, maybe even finish Cave Story at long last) out of the box, no funky new parts or extensions needed. But $450+ is too much for me to gamble on an 'it should.'

Jehuty (2015-12-31 12:06:45)I don't like the Alpha. At all.
The Smach Zero (portable Steam Machine) has my interest, I'm just curious on the hardware and the likes, playing Black Mesa or HL2 on the go would be amazing. I also haves my eyes on the iBuyPower Steam Machine.

Destroiya (2015-12-31 13:59:43)Pretty much the same reason as Nutsy. Maybe some other games.
I just exist at this point. Nothing too special going on.

The secret shall be shared. PM for more info.
Crush42 (2015-12-31 17:14:31)I've got a PC, but every game I've bought from Steam has had problems from missing textures to crashes, to not displaying the video, to control issues... so I don't use it for gaming. However, $450 would be a worthy investment to play RealMyst Masterpiece Edition on the TV without missing textures, crashes, and while using a controller. Also, Skyrim and DOA5LR (with mods).

Crush42 (2015-12-31 17:52:05)I heard they smoothed out the character models, added classic costumes and recreated the two next-gen console exclusive stages through mods on the PC version. If that makes me a pervert, then it sounds like my kind of life, TBH, fam.

TheIronMadden (2015-12-31 22:04:55)This should be moved to the Gaming forum.
I already have a PC, so there's really no need for me to get the Steam Machine.
You won't see me here, but you might find me if you look in the right places.

STEAM MACHINES. You got one? You want one? You have no idea what the fluff it is? This is the Steam Machine thread (for better or for worse). Discuss.
