Unfortunately, I don't think creepypastas are going to die anytime soon. People will never stop making them.

And like AC mentioned, creepypastas, although usually fanmade nowadays, they won't stop for a long while. There's always someone willing to draw an OC and someone willing to write their story.

And now there's a bunch of jeff the killer rip-offs made by fangirls, imo the problem is people have to get more creative with their creepypasta, it's no longer as simple as it originally was. Some creepypastas are fairly new and well-known, but not as many as before. Quick, name three well-known creepypastas from 2015 without looking!

So I'm sure you've all heard of the deep web, danger dolan, takedownman, mr. Nightmare, and maybe even Night Mind.
They're all part of the same era of creepyness, now instead of creepypastas, people focus on the deep web and fake ass stories from reddit.
People are also interested in MEAT, an aug channel. An aug is basically a series that's taken as if it were real and pieces together one big story.
So what do you think of this current era? What do you think of all these top 10 scary stories from reddit
I think it'll be interesting to see what crazy
DangerDolan and every other list maker: If you watch these just know that they don't do their research at all. For example both dd and mr. Nightmare had fake children's drawings in their creepy children's drawings list. If they had done more than go to Google images and hit save image as, they'd know that #1 was a creepypasta someone on deviantart made. Or maybe they did know and just wanted to trick their dumbass viewers who believe the constant
Takedownman: If you watch this guy, stop watching him, if you're subscribed to him, unsubscribe to him. Every video he's done is bull
Night Mind: The only 100% good YouTuber of this era. He does deep analysis on AUGs. His theories are perfect and are no doubt what was intended. His video's are organized so well that you could easily watch an hour long video without getting bored.
