Give it a chance. Keep in mind it's a full blown sequel, not a "extended cut" or remake.
@Ben-By making it for DS, Nintendo is missing out on HUGE 3DS sales.

I think the Kyurom and Kyuram fusions are the pathetic part. Just make two different Kyurem formes for the different games, don't just fuse Pokemon, that's just turning it into Digimon...

It's just because of this whole "whole new generation" thing that they make these games. Gamefreak doesn't care about raising the sales of Nintendo's handhelds, they just want to make more money, because some parents can't afford 170$. At least they could somehow create these games for the DS but at the same make the game cartridge have special features when inserted into a 3DS. Or, they could release it both for the DS and 3DS.

It might sound bad, but like everybody says, "don't judge a book by its cover" So if you see a Bidoof on a Pokemon White game or a Magikarp on a Black game will ya buy it? Of course! Even if it's name is"Pokemon: The-only-move-is-a-move-that-does-no-damage-whatsoever Version"


So yea, guys, just see how it is at launch and it might not be a bad game after all.

I think it's pretty clear why it's for the DS.

They want to keep the pokemon style (with its blocky graphics, typical fight system, ect). That's why the game does not need a lot of processing power, so the DS can run it too. Why make it 3DS compatible only if DS' are able to run it too?

I think they find that more important than 3D. I don't think 3D will add much to a pokemon game anyways. In pokemon it's the gameplay that counts.

@Rob-true, but DS games have had enhanced 3DS versions that were just like the DS games, but with crisper, cleaner sprites and additional content.(I'm looking at you Devil Survivor Overclocked and Harvest Moon)

The 3DS is the ideal system for a Pokemon game, it would give them SO MUCH more flexibility.
