My waifu's magic isn't too hot. Magic is generally stronger in Shin Megami Tensei games. Being able to deal high damage while saving SP for something crucial or boosting damage is her high point. Most enemies are weak to magic and not physical attacks.

Cynthia has access to Luna and Aether if Chrom is her daddy. Both of these skills halve defensive stats. If Cynthia has Luna equipped, it can still activate even if Aether fails to. Combine that with Limit Breaker, Aegis, All Stats +2, and Celica's Gale, and Cynthia will do a ton of damage. If Aegis activates when Aigis attacks with a projectile-based weapon, it will halve the damage Cynthia takes. This is before taking into account things such as Pair Up, Rally, and Tonics. Where's your tank now?

Still alive, man. Max health is like, 80 in Fire Emblem, right? Aigis does thousands of damage a turn and packs about 400 HP on the low level I have her at.

One on one, Cynthia doesn't stand a chance against Aigis. Aigis isn't weak to force. (wind) Aeon Shield completely negates wind, fire, ice, electric and damage. Swordbreaker halves physical. With Cynthia's skills not guaranteeing a trigger, your set up is unreliable. Forked Spear also allows for two attacks a turn.

If you're counting pair ups, then I get to count my teams of 4 or 5, depending on which game. If it's Persona Q, we're looking at linking damage, follow ups, Debilitate on Cynthia, greatly reducing her attack, defense, and avoid, Heat Riser on Aigis, greatly increasing her attack, defense, and avoid, and to tie it up with a bow, magic binds, attack binds, and agility binds and great HP restore and status removal each turn while Healing Harp is active.

If we're counting items, I'm packing Somas to restore all HP and SP, Bravants to raise attack, Stonards to raise defense, Wind Mists to further reduce the Wind damage she won't take, Storm Magatamas, to deal 150 Wind (strong against flyers) damage to all enemies, Cyclone Oil to give normal attacks the Wind element, Segaki Rice and Curse Paper for light and dark instant kills, Poison Gas, Paralysis Gas, Sleep Gas, Curse Gas (when you attack while cursed, half the damage dealt is done to yourself), and Panic Gas (you can only use greatly reduced physical attacks and might hurt yourself for full damage).

You screwed Cynthia over (As well as the rest of the Shepherds) when you added teams and items. Not to mention Personas greatly increase their users' power over that of a human.

Yes, but Grima can only be killed if he kills himself. Same deal with Naga. The worst they thing they could do is to cast them into slumber.

They said Grima and Naga are too strong to be killed by the Shepherds, not that they were completely unkillable. I'm certain that the power if an actual god, unlike Grima and Naga, can strike them down.

Oh really? Naga said that she and Grima are no gods. The power of a god should be able to defeat them then. Personas are also unkillable except by fusion and release. They can be easily brought back as many times as needed, too.

You've already expended your resources when you brought them up to begin with since they aren't Cynthia, or her team mates.


Hey, I thought of something Aigis has that Cynthia (or most Awakening characters) will never have.


I'm leaving you with one of the awkwardly adorable situations Aigis has a tendency to get into.

Naga explicitly states Grima can only die if he kills himself. Did you not pay attention? I know Awakening's plot was crap, but it was a fairly important detail.

Also, trying to add Grima to your forces doesn't lie with Awakening canon. You've exhausted your resources already. I've been successfully staying within the canon of Persona.
