kblackeagle (2013-06-09 01:59:23)That sucks!
Death is not the end. It is merely a step towards the unknown.
MeNobody14 (2013-06-10 03:11:09)"How hard would it be to get around?" Matt asked. "Not hard. You look like one of them." The woman whispered. "Alright.. You'll come with me to make it look authentic." He said. "No. Take Marie, she needs protection." The woman said. He slid her gag back into place and looked around. One of the slaves sitting next to Marie nudged her. She had been asleep. Matt gazed at her in pity. She was bruised and scarred. He clothing was torn, (more so than that of the others) and her lip was swollen. He pulled her up, and she whimpered in fear. "I'm not going to hurt you." He said. "I'm here to help."
Megan didn't have enough time to move because she was caught by surprise. The creature lunged and wrapped it's arms around her waist. It started to whimper, so she hugged it and picked it up. "Do you speak?" She asked. It gave her a half grunt in response, and spoke in a strange dialect. "Yrg nuh mi.." It whimpered. She couldn't understand what it had said, so she simply rocked it back and forth as it cried on her shoulder. She made quiet shushing noises and eventually calmed the poor thing down. It fell asleep in her arms, and she sighed. What a cruel world this was..
Matt lead Marie through the dirt and stone hallways of the underground slave trading post. Occasionally roughing her up a bit (gently, but making it look real) as he passed the guards. Nobody gave him a second glance as he made his way to nowhere. He simply wanted out. He'd need a plan if he'd want to rescue these people. "Which way to the exit?" He whispered into the slave girl's ear as they neared an intersection in the tunnels. She tilted her head left, and left Matt went.
Megan continued to wander throughout the city, careful not to wake the slumbering toddler that was on her shoulder. She found burned bones and other pieces of gore the closer she got to the palace. She also found a few more of the childlike creatures. They watched her from the shadows, darting around, following her. But she ignored them and continued onward throughout the city. There were scraps of food in the marketplace, but none looked edible. Everything was burned. Charred. Smoking. She grew more and more curious as to what had happened the longer she stayed in the city.

MeNobody14 (2013-06-10 11:41:47)Matt eventually exited the tunnels. They opened up to another room, which lead to another room, which lead outside. Matt continued on with Marie until he found a small, deserted alley he could duck into. Marie collapsed from exhaustion, onto the dirty stone floor of the alley. She moaned when she collapsed, and Matt nearly caught her, but was to tired himself. He removed the gag and bindings, and gently sat her up. She rubbed her wrists and stretched a bit then sat quietly. Matt was thinking of what to do next. He glanced at his watch, and saw he only had fifteen minutes to reach the other side of the city. "Get up." He said. Marie moaned. Matt was to impatient to wait, so he picked her up and carried her the rest of the way.
Megan watched all the little childlike creatures follow her. It made her uneasy, and curious. The little one on her shoulder stirred, and she gently placed it down. It rubbed it's eyes and opened them, then blinked at her. "Your awake now." She said. The little thing growled and ran into the shadows, dissapearing with all the other little creatures. Leaving Megan alone. Once again. She looked at her watch and started running toward the gate. Seven minutes left..
Matt arrived a few minutes before Megan, and sat down. The girl in his arms was feverish, and delirious. She cried out and tried to get up, her arms reaching for nothing. "Calm down.." Matt said, holding her a little firmer. A shiver ran through her frail body, and Matt pulled her tighter, gazing at her in pity. Megan ran up and started telling him about the children she saw, not noticing the bruised girl in his arms. "Who's that?" She asked when at last she noticed. "Marie, a slave." He said. "Slaves? No no no.. Slaves don't exist anymore." Megan said. "I could say the same about dragons." Matt defended. Megan pursed her lips and sighed. Matt was right, strange things were happening. "Megan, don't look behind you." Matt whispered. She froze, not daring to. "Take the girl, and get away from here." He said quietly. She nodded, about to ask why, when Matt yelled "Run!". The slave traders had followed them.

MeNobody14 (2013-06-11 00:43:01)Matt was captured. Chained and thrown into the male section of the slave quarters. He groaned as he awoke to a terrible headache, which was probably due to the slavers knocking him out. "Ah, a new one." A raspy voice said. "Oi, 'ee ain't gonna last a noight in 'ere." Another said. "Leave 'em alone. Let 'im rot." Said a third. His head was swimming, so he only heard gibberish. "Be still." The first voice said. He did, and his chains fell away. "Stay here, there will be someone to rescue you." A voice said in his ear, but when he turned around, nobody was close enough to whisper.
Megan had transformed once more, and flew far and fast, out over the ocean, into a portal. She hadn't realized that it was a portal until after she crossed through. By then, it was too late to turn back. She saw the horizon of a futuristic city, and stared in awe at how complex it looked, even from this distance. She landed ontop of a skyscraper, and stared out over the city, Gaping in wonder of it all. The only thing that was odd, was the lack of people.
Matt and the slaves were lead to an auction block. All of them lined up and chained together. Most of the people were sickly and beaten, while others were fresh and strapping. Matt's turn was fourteenth, and he dreaded every moment. He looked out into a sea of cruel looking slave traders. He swayed momentarily, feeling dizzy from the lack of food. He had been fed nothing for the five to seven days he was held. People started bidding on him, and he cringed as every buyer got crueler and crueler. "Five thousand." A voice said. Everyone gasped, for the previous bid was only seven-hundred and twenty. The auctioneer smiled deviously. "Going once!" He cried out. Matt swayed again. "Going twice!" Everything started to turn black. "Sold!" He fell into the arms of his new master.
Megan had deformed and taken Marie to a hospital. Thankfully, nobody asked any questions, but she found it odd that there wasn't a large amount of staff. Just like in the streets, there were only a few people walking the hallways. She waited, and waited, and waited, for the doctors and nurses to treat Marie. Everything seemed.. Forced. Like slaves being forced to work. Everything was not as it should've been.
Matt awoke, feverish and delerious. He screamed suddenly and stopped. Not realizing why he had done that. He sat up, and he was in a room. An empty room, save the bed he was on. It was lit, but the light came from no apparent source. There was a singular doorway and a short, domed roof. The room itself wasn't all-together that big, so Matt had to be careful how he moved. "You need to rest." A voice said. He jumped, startled because the voice, just like the light, came from nowhere. Or, was it the light? He was to exhausted to think. He lay back and felt a warm feeling on his forehead. "You are still feverish." The voice said again. He listened closely this time, and it sounded feminine. I've had enough of girls.. He thought. "I am a fully grown woman, not a child." The voice said. He felt the warm presence on his forehead leave, and he nearly reached out to try and touch it. "Where are you?" He asked. "Here." The voice said, again coming from nowhere. "I can't see you." He said. He squinted and rubbed his eyes, but still found nothing. "I am Fey, and you cannot see me without permission."

MeNobody14 (2013-06-12 02:46:51)^Lol. I used to run a slave trading RP, and when I got bored, I turned on my 'suppliers' and freed everyone.

MeNobody14 (2013-06-12 03:06:57)"Fay? That's a funny name.." Matt said aloud. "I am Fey, or in your tongue, Faerie." The voice said. The light gathered, and a single woman stood before him. Clothed in pure light. Her eyes shone bright, and her face was calm. There were no wrinkles. No freckles. Her face was simply.. Bright. "Faeries? Seriously?" He rubbed his eyes. "I'm going insane.." He mumbled. "No, no. You are quite sane." The woman replied. He laughed for a moment, studying the woman before him. Her body and the light which clothed her looked extremely similar, almost giving the appearance of nothing there, like tan sweaters, or see-through socks. He gazed at her, like any boy would. Not pervertedly, simply.. Curious. He stood up, and became dizzy, which sent him falling back onto the bed.
