Hm. Nintendo was working with Sony to make a PS1, but Nintendo and Sony separated (for some reason) So Nintendo shouldn't trust any other company to make a system with them.

Nintendo + Microsoft = Nintendo computer.

Nintendo computer = Over 1,000,000,000 fans dislike Nintendo.

@Nintendude-Wii U sales are definitely worse than the Gamecube's.

And what's with people saying the One has less pre-orders? There is FAR more hype for the One then there ever was for the Wii U. I'm sorry, but the Wii U is going to get steamrolled this holiday.

It is my opinion that the system is a turd, and I seriously hope it dies, so that Nintendo can actually put out a good system.

I...just have no hype for anything on it. I mean, all what it has is Mario games, a Zelda remake, "Wii" shovelware, games that are also on 3DS, and really weird stuff like Wonderful101.

Software wise, it sucks.
Hardware wise, it also sucks. The thing is barely stronger than systems that came out 7-8 years ago. It's games will look like crap by 2015.

Not to mention...only 32GB of internal storage?

It's like the Wii all over again, but without the accessibility.



Don't take this comment too seriously, this is MY opinion, aside from the Gamecube sales part.

Power isn't everything. The Wii U offeres something different than any other system, but people still want to keep it the same, just like the PC.

Graphics isn't everything either. Play the Bit. Trip games, and you'll truly understand graphics isn't everything.

The eShop is amazing too. Sure, a lot of indie games, but all of them are good.

And what link106 said, the Xbox 360 has a 4GB model. Even worse than the Wii U Basic set.

On PS4 you'll be able to stream PS3 games from it.

@link-4GB Xbox doesn't matter because you have the OPTION to get a model with more. With Wii U 32 is the max. Big problem.

@Nintendude-Power is pretty much everything, quirky indie games aside. Wii missed out on literally hundreds of great games because, guess what? It couldn't run them. It was so weak they couldn't even be scaled down. Power allows developers to shape their vision.
Here's a good example: Ico. Ico's creator could not put it on Playstation because of the hardware limitations, it would not be as he envisioned it. Enter the PS2. You act as if power is only for making games look good, but it does so much more than that. A.I, number of NPCs on screen at once, framerate, sizes of in game areas, etc.

The Wii U gap isn't as big, but the fact that it isn't getting Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III gives credence to my argument.

Everyone keeps on doubting Nintendo just because of Sony and Microsoft but people need to realize Nintendo has always had a past of turning the tables and proving people wrong every time. Trust me, a Nintendo will find a way to get back ontop. All they need to do is improve the UI, graphical engine, controller feel, and sell Super Smash Bros 4.

@IronMadden-Yeah, that was just because of Nintendo's stupid file size limit. The Wii could have easily run it.

On SSB4: I'm a little doubtful because

1.) Melee didn't do much for the Gamecube, SSB didn't do much for the N64

2.) There is a 3DS version. So I don't need a Wii U for SSB4.

@mewtwo-Nintendo can turn things around, unfortunately, they can be extremely incompetent. The 3DS has been out two and a half years and still doesn't have an account system, something the PSP has had for years.

That brings me to another point: The Wii U has horrible online. It has worse online than a system that came out 8 years ago. (360)

3DS and Wii U NEED a unified account system like all of Sony's systems. Vita, PSP(kinda), PS3, and PS4 are all synched up together with trophies, your profile, your purchases, everything. If my PS3 exploded I could just get a new one, sign in on my account, and all my purchases would be there. With Vita you can store stuff on the PS3 via the USB capable, which kinda solves the memory problem. Just put what your aren't playing on Vita on the PS3's hardrive.

Nintendo is behind. They definitely aren't innovative and boundary pushing like they used to be. Heck, they can't even put things that should be standard on their systems.

Supposedly with the One Microsoft is trying to gain more Japanese support. I don't see it happening though, the Japanese hate Western games and systems. Call of Duty usually doesn't even break 500,000 units sold in Japan.

I would be angry if Microsoft bought Nintendo. I am a Nintendo geek, I've bought Nintendo products since I was 5! I even got a Wii U, although that was actually a Christmas gift, heh. I still have my Wii, I've had it for almost 5 years (October 22 will hit the 5 year mark). People hate Nintendo, but I am almost 100% loyal to it. Nintendo could possibly be screwed as it is, but they'd be even more screwed if Microsoft took over! They might stop producing Harvest Moon!

Nintendo has to start making their consoles compatible with CD, DVD, and BluRay. It's pretty minor, but why couldn't Nintendo go like Sega, Sony, and Microsoft did? Xbox 360 could play DVDs (I don't know if you could play CDs on the 360), the PS2 could play DVDs, the Dreamcast could play CDs, PS3 could play CDs, DVDs and BluRay. But the closest Nintendo got to is 1080p HD.
