Feminism as is demands that Men who are accused of rape are guilty until proven innocent, and that punishments for it be severe, and I'm asking the reverse to be true as well.

As is, we all take Male-on-Female rape seriously regardless of any age disrepancies, and now I'm demanding we hold Female-on-Male to the exact same standard. Equality means you get the same punishments if you want the same perks, not getting all the things you want then demanding special privilege on account of your gender.

Consensual or not, what she did is a crime, so she should be locked up for it. End of story.

Yet another thing to note, Regardless of your opinion on it, the kid is indeed a victim here. Don't try to spin it on another angle, as there's a lot of psychological issues that go into this, and permanent psychological damage that ensues as a result of this. This same kid, years later, will end up performing more and more self-destructive actions following this, as is the case for all minors involved in cases like regardless of Gender.

The "He's old enough to know what he was getting into" excuse is ing hilarious to hear because mentally and emotionally, it is incredibly unlikely he was prepared for anything of the sort, even if his hormones dictated he was physically prepared.

Age of consent is 18 for a reason.

Han, I think it's worth noting that ages of consent vary from culture to culture and from country to country. Perhaps the reason the age of consent is 18 here is arbitrary and not exactly supported by any rational reason. Also, I want to share my opinion on statutory rape.

First things first I'm the realist, drop dead and let the whole world feel this, I need to point out that the laws we're discussing now, which prohibit certain activities involving minors, are aimed towards protecting children. That is the purpose- to protect persons under the age of 18. But when due process is carried out and these laws are imposed, the result sometimes contradicts the purpose of the laws. Let's look at a couple examples.

In the article cited by Jason, we have a male child that engaged in sexual activity with a teacher. Now let's pretend that they did have intercourse. Imagine that the male gave consent, even though, legally, it was nonconsensual. The law dictates that the perpetrator, in this case the teacher, is a rapist, therefore she should go to jail. This woulld otherwise be known as statutory rape. However, there's a problem with this being called "rape". If both the male and the female consented and neither were harmed, is there really a need for the law to intervene? From what is this child being protected?
Next, let's look at sexual intercourse between minors only. According to the law, you cannot give consent if you are under the age of 18. Does that mean that if two minors have sex then they raped each other?
Lastly, there have been instances where minors were charged with counts of child pornography for taking nude pictures of themselves. Where is the logic in this? Again, the law is there to protect these children. In this case, however, what are they being protected from? The government does not own my body, I do.

I can address several counterarguments, but I'll leave that to you because then there's no fun.
