It's actually possible to survive without food for almost a month on water alone. Some old lady tried it, but stopped because she literally almost died. So don't do it.

May have gone longer than that when I've been sick.

Just last week I wasn't feeling hungry. On one occasion, I only remembered I needed to eat because I started feeling nauseous, weak, and pain in my stomach, so I figured I needed to eat something. It's happened before, but it's not often. It can be dangerous to forget to eat.
