From my experience, reading what my supposed weaknesses are from taking the test and working on those while learning more about INTJs has helped me a lot. It was because I took it somewhat seriously. Maybe the MBTI test isn't accurate for younger people and those who don't answer the questions honestly, but I still think that it can be useful to some people.
Still, the way I look at someone when I learn their mbti type won't really change whatsoever, since there are a lot more things besides cognitive functions that cause people to behave certain ways
Aleks (2015-02-21 18:41:46)I won't take what I got on that quiz seriously, but for my personality as of right now, it's accurate.

There's a difference between being and extrovert and wanting to be around people often. There's also a difference between beibg an introvert and preferring to be alone.
There are common misconceptions that being an introvert means you are shy, don't like going to parties, etc. When in reality, it's just about how you lose and gain energy.
I'm pretty sure kishy has more knowledge on these kinds of subjects than we do.
Aleks (2015-02-21 18:49:53)I might have been INTP the last time I took a personality test. idk. Our personalities are changing and right now, INFP is more accurate. :^)

I'm pretty sure cognitive functions don't change. However, I do think that most of the forum users are INFP. It just makes so much sense
Mephistopheles (2015-02-21 18:53:36)"Your personality isn't even static" <- muh
Static means staying the same
"An obvious answer to the question is that people mature that change is inevitable, <- duh article
What point are you even arguing about? The age? Lol.
It says that personalities change and I said that personalities change.
"The reason the majority of the users here are introverted is because... well, think about it. We're on a 3DS internet community. I doubt the majority of us are the outgoing people at school, or even have tons of friends. Extroverts tend to stick to internet communities like Tumblr, Facebook, etc. Not saying there won't be ANY extroverts here... there are. But it makes sense why the majority of us are introverts." <- yuh
Lol I don't think the rest of us will be neckbeards forever, mega. 80% of the users are most likely going to find something to do in life as they get older and stop visiting this site. Feelings about taking charge and leadership change once you start putting yourself out there, talking to college reps, and getting a career started.

Mephistopheles (2015-02-21 19:00:00)But you claimed that it stopped by the age of 8 or 10.
"I'd say by the age of 8-10 you have your personality developed" <- yuh
I assumed you meant development so I gave you something more realistic. Either way 20 is more close to the actual answer. I nudged you in the right direction until you stopped being lazy and Googled it. :^) I'm a hero.

Yeah. The title of that article proved my point.
"Our Personalities Are Constantly Changing, Even if We Think Theyre Not"
