And ADHD, I don't even think 99 percent of the cases are legit. There's this one girl at my school who don't give a damn about her grades and always depends on others to give her the answer and pay attention for her. "It's because of my ADHD". Once she asked my friend for her lunch because of her "ADHD", even though she had already had her lunch (the ADHD girl). So dumb.

PANZERFAUST (2016-04-30 07:25:08)I'm on a lot of amphetamines (not going to specify the exact drug/dosage), but they actually help because I was properly medicated. Most people just get stuck with Ritalin or Adderall, both of which I've tried only to end up sick to the point of throwing up.

TheIronMadden (2016-04-30 19:27:49)I think ADHD and autism are the most overdiagnosed disorders in the modern day. Of course some people genuinely have these disorders, but the rest don't show strong signs of having them.
It's just a way for doctors to push medications and treatments on those who don't actually need it so they can get more money for their job.

TheIronMadden (2016-05-01 05:05:13)@Alpaca- From what I've seen, it's overdiagnosed. Do you seriously think that 1 in 68 kids actually develop autism? I don't. Most of the time, I think it's paranoid parents who think because little Tommy/Sarah isn't talking to other kids at preschool it means there's something wrong with him/her. As a result, they go to a doctor and it's easy for them to say that they have autism despite it possibly being just them developing certain skills at a slower pace than others. Is it really necessary to say they have some sort of disorder if they end up perfectly normal a few years down the road?

GawdHydra (2016-05-01 23:06:37)I don't know if Marfans Syndrome is a disability. It's the thinning of connective tissue, and I have a mild case of it. Combine that with a high metabolism, I'm pretty much as thin as a skeleton.
