Also, I'm pretty sure I could make a molotov tail. I just need the petrol.. Would hair spray work? It had propane/butane and all sorts of nasty stuff.

I've got plenty of candles in my room if I ever need light.

@little5 I'm not sure the fire would spread too well with hairspray, but you can try. I think isopropyl alcohol might work better, but I'm not sure how it will gel with soap.

@Applebucker You've lost me I'm sure re configuring your computer would take a bit more time than stripping a few cords though, and it could up.

Isopropyl alcohol will burn OFF, not set things alight.

You'd be better off getting a can of hairspray and cresting a makeshift flamethrower of some sort, or rigging it to explode somehow.

I hear those office dust sprayer thingies make a mean flamethrower when combined with a barbecue lighter.

Realistically, most of us wouldn't use what was in our rooms. We would go seek out better supplies. If I could only use what was in my room, though, I would bring airsoft guns, if I could fix them somehow. I would use temporarily use those until I gathered enough metal items (keys, doorknobs from doors and drawers, the air vents, whatever else was lying around, etc. and try to make sharp, makeshift weapons out of those by melting and cutting them.

I wouldn't make it far. Zombies wouldn't be my main concern, but scavengers and bandit would be a real issue. No doubt they would have better weapons, so I would either have to stay in a large group, or hide in the least populated area that's nearby.
