I'm getting sick of seeing this as a reason for suggestion, and that's partially why I think the modship of this site is as chaotic as it currently is.

Following the rules is hardly an indicator of a person's ability to interpret and enforce them, that is determined by the person's ability reason and logically come to perfectly valid conclusions from their interpretation of the rules; You want mods that can actually think for themselves when dealing with issues, not typing /ban on two people reasonably debating something because "Rules say no fighting/arguing"

^You can't really tell if the person is a good mod unless you actually mod a person and give them a month or two too tell if they're good or not. That's probably the best way, pretty much everyone now judges if the person is a good mod or not because of their behavior and I understand that but at some extent it shouldn't matter.
