One thing I DON'T like about these type of discussions is people mention characters from Playstation and Xbox. This game is not for you if you mention those characters. You have to mention characters that were once and still are nintendo characters (example of this are banjo kazooie is a no go, used to be nintendo related and betrayed nintendo). I read the first page, and so far, yes, Megaman could be a unconfirmed character in this game.

Thing about SSB4 is that it's going to be two type of people.

The people I play with would be the competitive players, these are the people that take stuff serious and don't taunt 50% of the time while brawling, and show off your skill to who the better player is, by playing mind games (guessing your opponents next move and counterattacking to punish), through experience (both the character and the stage) and tricks by knowing your own character and using the skill and moves they have to your advantage.

The other type are people that want to have "fun" while playing (Notice the quote on quote fun. Competitive fights are "fun" too, except taken more serious), such as adding items, bad stages, and if these people continuously lose to a "competitive" player, then they change the rules into something they are more suited to winning (mentioning low handicap, items, bad stages, 1 stock) it may not be 100% fair to the other player, because they need to rely cheap, desperately pathetic tactics to win. All I'm saying is, "fun" games aren't something I'm worried about, I don't care what items they bring, I am concerned about the stages, the gameplay style, the characters, not so much, as long as they bring my favorite characters. In my opinion, the people that think the Super Smash Bros. Series shouldn't be competitive are kids (regardless, mentioning Nintendo is a company made just for kids, there are even old men and women that enjoy games like this too), but that's understandable, they don't want to sink in their pride of losing by skill, cause most are confidentially conceited and won't take losing for a answer.

In my opinion they will make a completely different fighting style game that sets this one apart from the smash series, it won't be the usual 2D style with 3D graphics game-play, and if they do, the controls will be terrible.
