Your trying to make people conform to your standards. Yes, there are some pretty stupid and crappy threads out there, but just because some of them don't meet your approval, doesn't mean they are terrible. Cliches, (depending on how they are used) Can be good for a story. And it's not our fault if they are cliche.
Originality isn't necessarily needed. If used in the correct way, something like a plain 'ol "Jeff" pasta could become really interesting. I use plenty of characters from different pastas. Does that make me un-original?
And with that being said, I rest my case.

AntiChrist (2013-06-21 06:42:59)Allow me to remind you that it's not all about just my standards and opinions. It's the larger majority of this forum that wanted it this way. I just simply took it upon myself to make it happen and it seems to be working perfectly so far.
This forum just took a huge leap forward because of this thread. Also, I never said Jeff stories weren't allowed at all. We just need to cut back on them a lot.
