The Rebuilt, Redesigned, Brand New Eco Is Coming Very Soon!
That's right! Eco is being rebuilt from the ground up, fully coded by the us, without any scripts taken from other sites!
Eco also has a brand new look! Users will enjoy the all new Material Design on Eco!
With the all new Eco, there will be all new experiences. We still don't have a launch date, but we are progressing quickly!

Especially Freenom domains. I could simply just tell Freenom that your site contains scams and it would be shot down, no site testing or questions asked.

(Isn't this thread technically breaking the rules because there's no released site?)

The site was released but it seems that it's now currently unusable, so I don't think it would be considered a released site anymore.


In regards to the video, music and other media (probably excluding images) that will be stored on the server (user uploaded or not), X10 (your current webhost) doesn't allow it without permission from the copyright owner which means you can't really advertise something that you can't have, especially if it's going to be the top feature (many sites offer this already so it isn't unique).

If it's user uploaded then copyrighted content may get through and possibly get the site suspended. Even if the content isn't copyrighted, you're ONLY allowed 1GB for "image galleries", which means images that are actually going to be used on the site (such as the logo and user avatars).

I've seen a thread regarding Eco in X10's forums (as the owner of the X10 account has posted a thread about some music thing on the site) and it was said that it would be against the ToS to have the music stored on the server, I'm not sure if you can put it on as long as you get proof that the owner is allowing you to use it.


If you really want all of this, you'll need to go paid hosting on a host that probably won't kill off the site just because of how you're using your site storage. I'm not going to get into detail regarding copyright as that's a large topic for something that can easily get violated. Basically, continue in your own risk.

Eco will be going through alot of changes, but as Colapps said, the site is now unusable, as it's being rebuilt. Thank you to all the people who have stuck by the project since its announcement. Hope to make a new thread when the sites done
And for all concerned, we are going paid hosting and a paid domain soon, definatley before the release.
