Each user would have a bulletin board in the Plaza Community Center. They can put whatever they please on those boards.
If the user is banned, a giant piece of red paper is put over their board.
There are whiteboards for comments and each board has an elevator to take you to the PM Central Building. There's a button on the board for friend requests.
PMs?
PM Central Building has mail chutes. You type up what you wanna send, print it, and stick it in an envelope. There are over 90,000 mail chutes, each with a computer screen. You look up a user and their chute comes up, and you stick the letter in the chute.
The letter is then delivered very quickly by PMbots. Each letter envelope has a little tab to pull if you want to reply, and when you pull the tab, the PMbot will take you to the nearest mail chute.
If the user is banned, they will be in a jail cell made of glass so they can watch everything, but not do anything.
Forums?
The forums would be this bustling community of cool people.
It would be like a really tall building made of glass, and each thread is a level in that building. The popular threads are the highest, and noobs literally get thrown out the windows.
If a thread is closed, the door to that room is locked until a new thread takes it's place. Mods would walk around with PVC Pipes that had "STFU Stick" written on them in glitchtext. If somebody was breaking the rules, they would be beaten with the stick.
Chats?
Each chat is like a lounge. Each chat has a cSplit Closet, and users can walk in there and get outfitted with cSplit.
Mods carry Ban Hammers, which are spiky hammers made of steel. There are comfortable couches everywhere and maybe a nice potted plant in the corner.
When you ignore somebody, you get special hearing aids that tune out their voice. You can adjust these to tune out as many people as you like.
