That description only mentions Defense, dude. Which is why in every website that features pokemon news that is all it says, that it gets boosted defense.
Obviously, every stat other than HP will get a boost, but it won't be a great increment. I wouldn't expect more than +20 in anything other than defense, which I think will get +40. Salamance has always been a mixed sweeper, so it'd make sense if both attack and sp. attack get a +20. Now, there's always points that go into stats that won't make a difference, and would have helped much more if they were put somewhere else. I like to call these jank points, because, well, they're jank. That being said, I expect this mega to get a +10 in sp. Defense, and with that, there's only 10 points left. These will go into speed because wynaut?

Mega Venusaur takes a little less than neurtal damage from anything but flying and psychic. I have yet to see MegaZard with any flying type moves though so...

But you know what? I hope we get new megas of pokemon that I own in shiny form. I'd love to have a shiny mega. We're all getting that Beldum, I know, but besides that, I have crappy shinies. Ninetails, Sylveon, and Greninja are the only cool shinies I have. Ninetails is the only one that would qualify for a mega out of those pokes.

I'm really believing they are just giving Mega's to a couple OP naturally pokemon then a ton to ones to nobody's favorites. Audino was a really stupid choice. The hell happened to Slowbro its getting eaten by the shell now. Do something awesome like a Mega Luxray. My Shiny luxray needs to look even better in a Mega. The beldum TBH I don't need because I already have KB 6IV Shiny Metagross+Adamant. So I got the best one possible.

BTW You only have 3 cool shinies? TF why don't you have more? I got a collection of 200+ legit shinies.

I have lots of competitive pokes, rejects, and a "to train" box. I also still have my in game team, and a box of things to wonder trade. I literally just breed Tyrogue and go to GTS for legendaries.
