I agree with that. Well, partly.
Their ''great'' security protection isn't that great. If I'd have an iPhone I would jailbreak it immediately after the warranty has expired.
Spector (2015-02-03 00:57:41)I don't like MAC... I'm mostly talking about the iDevices.
Jailbroken iDevices are, in my opinion, better than androids. iDevice's vanilla OS is very user friendly. Androids... not exactly. The app store has higher quality games and apps than Google Play. Jailbreaking your iDevice unlocks HUGE amounts of tweaks, custom apps, ect. that you can use. From what I seen, Rooting and android doesn't do much.
I'll agree that Android has a more stable and "free" OS, But Apples (Jailbroken) iDevices win me over.

CoolApps (2015-02-03 10:50:21)I do agree that you can do more fancy things on iOS when jailbroken.
When rooted on Android, you're able to have more system management tools and more features, more for the power users. One awesome thing you could do is run a Linux distro on it (that uses ARM). Many things in root are useful for people who like to modify the OS configuration (AKA the advanced users), it's more interesting for the people who use Linux, as Android uses the Linux kernel.
iOS uses UNIX I believe, so you can do that similar stuff, could be slightly different in a way.

Belle (2015-02-03 21:29:58)I've been on an Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S III) because my cousin has one. The design is more strange to me than the iOS, because the iOS interface is all neat and very nice looking but the android is just...
CoolApps (2015-02-03 23:39:40)There's many OEM skins, like for example, Samsung uses Touchwiz. TBH, Touchwiz doesn't seem to look great and isn't so smooth, like when you open the app draw..
A custom launcher could be a solution of making you not look at that Touchwiz launcher, though you still have Touchwiz all over the OS.
The proper solution would be either get a custom ROM or get a different phone which is from a different OEM (preferably the one that has the skin you like).

angelrulez7 (2015-02-04 16:16:17)Only risk with that is bricking your phone, but if you know what you're doing it's fine.

Spector (2015-02-04 19:27:22)Nah. Micromon is a good quality app and it's exclusive to the app store, and it's only 99 cents.
Oceanhorn is another app store exclusive and it's 10 bucks for a beautiful zelda-inspired game.
Radiation Island is a new game. It's only 3 bucks and it's a huge, graphically awesome open world game.
So like I was saying, Apple doesn't suck. It's just overpriced.
