The majority of them are against LGBT stuff, but at least they don't preach about it. Besides, I don't need to come out. What I like is none of their business, unless I like them. I'm already an easily-targeted quiet kid.
My town is literally 50/50 white and black. Like half of the white people are redneck, gun-waving, and rebel flag worshiping. The rebel-flag ones are the mean ones. They low-key do it to cause drama. Nobody likes the rebel flag idiots.
Like I said, the good outweighs the bad. Most of the people hers are really nice. I'm just so unlucky that I usually end up with the bad.

Oh, and as for the religion thing...
You can't really say "Psh I'm more of a good person than most Christians I know", because "good" in itself is defined by your religion/beliefs. Some people think it's morally wrong to discriminate people (namely homosexuals) while Christians believe it's morally right to not support or accept homosexuality...while they shouldn't be hateful, frowning upon homosexuality will naturally lead to some degree of discrimination. An Atheist can't really say that's wrong, because they have no authority to. For Christians, God is their authority...Atheists have nothing but public bias.
