No, in Baka and Test, they put the teenagers in classes by their grade. There is Class A, full of the most intelligent students, all the way to Class F, the stupidest students. There are Sumnmoner Test Wars where a class can declare war on another to trade powers, furniture, grades, etc. and they use avatars to fight, which are chibi versions of the characters. Kouta's avatar is a chibi version of him as a vampire or a ninja.

tbh Baka To Test is one of my favorite non-action anime. It's pretty funny and Yuuji's backstory's pretty interesting. I wish the anime knew how to count to three.
