It works. People get desperate for Tyrogue, making it valuable as hell until you get one. You can get anything but event legends really.

And here I was trying to be kind, gving away newly hatched leftover +4IV HA OU mons when I could just be putting up Tyrogues.

Reminds me of the time in the 4th gen era of the GTS when EVERYONE wanted a damn shaymin, and it felt really good to have a bunch of hacked ones ready to trade.

Doubt it. BTW GTS this gen sucks. Last Gen you could trade anything. This one has freaking restrictions.
