Anyways, the situation is solved. Carlos has his original ban time and is temporarily demoted until then. As much as I consider carlos a "friend", I have to do what I have to do.

This is unfortunately the case. It also lead to the ban I suffered on suspicion of being an Alt, despite the fact that If they actually used the forums, they would've known I was an old user.

Seriously, is there no double-check system for banning? Is there literally no way to prevent false-positives or ludicrous punishment?

I actually wish to inquire: What steps do mods have to go through before someone can be banned, and do they have to answer to any other mods before wrapping up the case?

That's a terrible system and It's a goddamn miracle this place hasn't imploded on itself yet if that's all they need to do to ban someone.

I assume the Forum mods have a similarly easy process where it's done in a few clicks then too?

And Meia, just because an issue like this occurs and it's finally taken care of, it does not mean you have to ask us if the thread should be locked. You have to use common sense, because this was a thread discussing carlos's ban being fair or not. This has been talked about for days, and the issue's been taken care of, so next time, wynaut use common sense.

No offense but, you're wrong.
This thread has nothing to do with whether or not I am currently banned. The title sums up the topic of this discussion pretty well.

If you want to lock this, that's ok. In the end, I won. That was basically the purpose of this thread.
