It's harder to tell when somebody on the Internet is joking as well.

It's not just the whole "Autistic people take a lot of things literally".

If you read Scott Pilgrim you'd know what I mean.

He's awkward, doesn't have many friends, has issues keeping a job, lacks empathy, has narrow obsessive interests (video games seems to be the main special interest), is clingy to one or two people (Ramona Flowers), and so on.

I'm not staring that he is indeed autistic but I theorize it at least.

Keep in mind the symptoms are somewhat of a "pool", too.

While many avoid eye contact, some people with autism have an issue of always looking at people too directly.

There are up to hundreds of symptoms related to Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Autism is not very easily understood, and itself is very complex.
