Novastripe hears their conversation and rushes over. "You say that you took care of the fox? Is it gone for good? Or do you think it may return?"

"Knocked the fox out, at least. Around an hour until we can expect it to return to it's lurking days," Thundercat says while putting some cobwebs on his injury.

Novastripe nodded. "Then I'll take a patrol and go wait for it. That fox will be driven out for good by nightfall." She rushes off to the warriors den to gather fighters.

I follow after Novastripe, but can't help but feel a pang of sorrow for Thundercat. He'll be alright, I thought to myself.

Thundercat finishes putting the cobwebs on, and then grabs a squirrel to eat, after all, he had just knocked out a fox.

Once Novastripe had a substantial amount of warriors, including their leader, she led the way into the forest, searching for the fox so that they could get rid of it for good.

Thundercat runs out of camp. He begins hunting for food, and also tries to find more foxes.

I find the very spot the tussel between Thundercat and the fox occured. "It must be near." I say as I try to scent the fox.

"Found it!" Thundercat meows loudly. He looks at the fox, laying on the ground, still unconsious.

I pad over to it, and notice a very distinct scar on its hind leg. "I know this fox..." Tears start to form on my face.

Novastripe rushes over and sees her leader crying. She walks over to the unconscious fox, knowing it was evil even though it looked innocent now.

"What...did it do to you?" she asks.

Thundercat suddenly starts running in the other direction. Then, the fox slowly attempts to get off the ground.

Novastripe nods and rushes over to the reviving fox, using both paws to rear up and knock its head onto the ground. It grunts and passes out again.
