You know, I don't think there will be a day Bellamy actually gets demoted for good. Unless she asks for a quick demotion, I don't think a permanent demotion will ever happen. I'm thinking to myself.. "Was this thread just not enough evidence?" "The thread that Nait made.. Will he try making up stories just to avoid Bellamy having to be demoted?"

Eventually all of our current mods will be demoted and replaced, or the site will end before that. Either way, Sack does keep saying that he wants to step down from his position soon....hopefully the next CM might make the move to demote her.

^ Actually, Jason faked the screenshot. There is no date yet. Also, Lani is the same. Lani also seems a bit more mature in my eyes. Mainly referring to the fact that Drake automatically assumed a thread I made was towards him, due to the fact that it was directly after he had closed one of my threads. Also, Lani knows how to control the masses without intimidation. Lani would be a CM that even the users like. Not just those who are on her good side, such as Nait and possibly Drake. Despite being one of her friends, she still scolded me for calling Sami a disgusting hore. But she tried to comfort me with other words which will remain unspoken. Drake and Nait wouldn't try to comfort me. They would act with hostility. Which is all good and fine when you're enforcing the rules. But in my opinion, the CM should be somebody whose overwhelming hostility won't make users switch chatrooms solely. Lani has a sense of humor, and a naturally mature way of handling things. Along with a lack of bias. She can be mean if she has to be. I've seen it. She also takes advice from others. Which somebody like Drake wouldn't. I see Drake saying "I'm the CM noob. Why would I take advice from a user?" and then galloping off on his magnificent steed into the sunset. That is not what I see Lani doing. She obviously visits the forums, but only very rarely does she comment. Just as Nait does. However, unlike Nait she only comments with large, clear, concise, understandable, and intelligent paragraphs. Only on pressing matters that make a difference in the universe. Rather than the three lines of mockery Nait comments.

Although I am impressed Nait finally started to address the issue of Seosha being a terrible mod, I still believe it was purely because Rob/Oliver pressed him too, or he simply got tired of the constant complaining. Regardless, I am fairly certain we will come out on the other side of this knowing full well that Nait possesses an incredible amount of bias, and as such, Seosha will remain a moderator.

In light of all this, my recommendation withstands, #LaniforCM.

That would mean she'd have to remain in the chats since she normally uses the chat often. She'd be a Chat Community Mananger, and somebody has to be a Forum CM. I say Spencer or HanShot. 2 seperate CM's, 1 chat, 1 forum.

^ I thought Drake was CM on Home4DSi. Even so, being active is not the only goal towards being a good one. You also need to make the right choices when modding and demoting a user. Did he have that skill on H4D, because I left that site for a while

Actually, Jason has a brilliant idea of having a separate CM for both the forums and chats.

Having 2 CMs has been discussed before, however giving them each a specific media of the website to manage is an even better idea. To be an entire site manager requires an unrealistic amount of time commitment for most people. Splitting the responsibilites up into categories would theoretically mean that the CM can invest more time into their specifc media and manage it efficiently. Clearly, our current system must be sloppy if there's so much moderator drama. Like mega said, the CM needs to be actively involved in the whole site, and our current CM doesn't seem to do that.

I don't have any preference over who the CM(s) will be....I just want them to do a good job, obviously.

Who would manage profile mods and the like?
