I actually agree with demoting Seosha.

They can be a bit rude and insensitive at times, and that doesn't set a good example for our users. It's also impolite, and it's biased to ban others for being mean when you're doing it yourself.

I also think mega should be promoted again.

No, not all. I've seen SL and others give x/3 warnings recently.

The one warn thing was never a rule...It's just a preference and became an obligation at one point, but it was never forced.

Ideally, I think mods should use as many warns as they want...though, that causes inconsistencies. The best solution is an updated strike system, as we've all been saying.....but meanwhile, we'll just have to deal with it.
