The fox manages to utter the words, "I remember you..." I still stand my ground, gazing into the fox's green crisp eyes, reflecting my own blue eyes.

Thundercat steps back slowly, having a bad history with foxes, especially since one tried to kill him. Suddenly, a gray cat with yellow stripes runs into camp and attacks the fox. All Thundercat does is facepaws.

I immediately arch up, fur bristling, and hiss at the yellow-striped cat. "Mind you! That fox isn't hurting anyone!" The fox recoils deeper into my den, hoping to not get attacked again.
