ChaoticGore (2015-06-23 16:36:10)@Rin any armor set with Autoblock is a savior as long as you aren't attacking you'll autoblock and its very helpful, if you just stand before ya know does his roar then it'll autoblock. I would also recommend having Artillery God or at least the 10 point skill it increases capacity for Gunlances and also speeds up phial charges for the Charge Blade, rest is up to you use Athena's A.S.S to make a mix set and stuff i'll post a couple of the text of some of them I found.

RinFujimaru (2015-07-05 14:36:49)It confuses me how I find S. Rath a lot easier than Azure. Every group I was in took him down around a nice 4 or 5 minute mark. I have yet to kill Goldie, but I think she will be easy with SA

kingmick (2015-07-09 16:43:34)Got my Gold crown today, also finished the dlc G.Rath set. The grind fortunately doesn't stop for me right now so I started working on the Brachydium set. Pretty easy monster surprisingly. Just don't blow up.

RinFujimaru (2015-07-10 17:17:02)@kingmick How well does insect glaive against raging brachy? I unlocked him a while ago, and I need to max out my brachy weapons. I heard somewhere the pheromone-shot from the IG blows up the slime on him when it turns red or something. I'm not sure, though.

kingmick (2015-07-10 20:39:56)I finished the raging brachy set,the brach glaive, and I'm almost done with the C.Blade. Took waaaay quicker than expected.
@Rin I never used the glaive while fighting it. I can guarantee that the pheromone will blow it up when its red though. Also while fighting it and seeing others use the IG, mounting will make it so much more manageable.

Yeah. I only had a few decent rooms. Most people sucked and double/triple carted on him, so my grind lasted a day or two longer than I would have liked. Though there were 3 or 4 instances where we got him down in under 5 or so, so that was nice.
I found best results using either Dual Blades or IG. Not too good with any of the shield weapons, though I plan on getting into SnS and maybe Gunlance. Know any good armor sets to begin with?
