Idk about personality or any of that sort yet. Now that I have a Wii U Im mad that it was pushed to 2016. It looks amazing though, and got pushed for additional development because it's going to be a huge game. It's pretty much going to the Skyrim level of being an open world game.
Most Zelda games fit in with the "open world" category *coughexceptSpirirTrackscough*, but this is going to be a whole 'nother level of it, dude.
I think my fav Link so far is Wind Waker Link.
Btw so far I've only played Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, and I'm working on The Minish Cap....
I'm gonna cosplay WW Link, specifically in the clothes he is wearing before receiving the Hero's Clothes.
The reason he's probably my fav Link so far is I loooooove Toon Link and Wind Waker Link was pretty relatable and idk I don't have a very deeply engraved reason, he's just my favorite so far.
I relate to all the Links in one way or another, but I think I might relate most to Adult Link.
And I prefer Adult Link over Toon...
But I don't know much about the adult Links because I've not yet played a game with one and I'm not going to sit and watch entire videos of an entire Zelda game on YouTube.
Like of Skyward Sword I've only seen the Ghirahim battles, and the cutscene before Zelda seals herself in a deep sleep.

Like no they aren't developed in a way to have like a favorite breakfast cereal or whatever, but you can't say they left any Link without any personality and it's completely up to the player.
While it slightly varies from person to person what each Link is like, most people have a pretty stable idea of what Link is like.
