Aspergers exists.
Most people who say they have it, definitely don't have it. It's obvious from an early age. It's not something that goes unnoticed. It involves delays in certain things like speech, antisocial.. Ect.
Everyone here is just a drama queen.

And people as well are starting to say Asperger's is ~overdiagnosed~ too

Why would they overdiagnose a neurological disorder without a "cure" (autism), and a learning disability/neurological disorder that can be toned down with medication that drugs you like hell if you don't actually have ADHD?

All I need to hear next here is about how autism is caused by vaccination (it's not).

Carlos is just overusing the Down syndrome joke. It's okay. We've all been there.

I have ADHD and anxiety tho

There's some weight to the "ADHD is over-diagnosed" claims. It's more likely to be over-diagnosed due to misdiagnosis rather than on purpose for some pill cash though. Artificial colours and flavours have been studied to cause ADHD (or signs of it), so instead of a mental imbalance it may just be poor diet.

I had this one friend who was pretty docile...He could concentrate if he put his mind to it, and only really got jumpy/excitable when he was nervous or just really bored. His behaviour was more of a personality/maturity problem than a mental issue (not to mention his diet was pretty junky), it seemed...yet somehow he got diagnosed with ADHD. I could only guess the pills made it easier for his mom to cope with his immaturity instead of just addressing it herself.

I'm sure many cases are proper ADHD, but sometimes it seems to be easier to sedate everyone whether they actually need to be or not.

1/5 teens I meet take ADHD meds, which seems like a ridiculously large amount of people to all have ADHD.
