Give me your opinions.

So far, I'm liking the 360's controller more, but the PS3's online seems like a much better deal.

Gamewise, they are equal to me.

The games I want to start are the two Batman games (Arkham Asylum and City) and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. All those are on both systems and I'm not a Halo or Uncharted freak so I'm undecided.

I will give my opinion on both systems, since I own them.

PS3
Lot's of great first party exclusives, but third party ports are usually done poorly. For fifty bucks a year, you get a free game every month PLUS an instant game collection with PS+.

Xbox 360
BEST CONTROLLER. For fifty bucks a year, you get access to the most advanced gaming network this gen. Third party exclusives are usually developed for the 360 before being ported to other platforms.

Go with ps3, you seen like a type of guy who dosent like wasting money, and with xbox, youll do just that.

There both good but I have a XBOX so I'll just give you its pros and cons

Pros
*Nice controller the controller is easy to use and feels nice.
*Comes with mic unlike the PS3 th 360 comes with a mic so no $30.00 purchases to get a mic.
*Great 360 only titles including
Halo, Banjo Kazooie, ECT
*Big time deals we get Call of Duty mappacks a month or two earlier than PS3 plus we get Minecraft 360 Edition.
*Cool online content you get a Internet Explorer browser Youtube and tons of indie and cool games on the marketplace.
*Does support some older orginal XBOX titles.

[b]Cons[b]
*As mentioned earlier online does cost some cash
*the controllers take batteries although for about $10-20 you can buy a charger.

It's honestly a matter of taste.

The PS3 has Blu-Ray, free online, and better graphical capabilities, but suffers in terms of strong 3rd party software.

360 has a very fleshed out online system, a lot of highly acclaimed, hard hitting AAA games, developers, and franchises on their side. But, it doesn't have as great a graphical tolerance as PS3, online must be paid for, and does have a fair share of hardware issues.

Xbox 360- If pure gaming is what you crave, the 360 is the machine of choice.

PS3- If you're more of a home theater enthusiast, PS3 is the definite choice. Because of the lack of strong games, and is mostly multimedia to begin with, it's better if gaming's only a secondary concern.

This Was The Desicion I was stuck on for my birthday.

Xbox=I would not prefer the Xbox Unless you Had A LOT of money.

PS3=I chose this. There are Great titles,And Its Cheaper.

WII U=If you Can shell out the Money for the Deluxe and some other games and goodies,COMPLETE BUY. With Nintendo Direct Out [coming Out] This Is a really good suggestion,And theres A Special offer On eSHOP if you buy Deluxe.

I say go with the PS3, even though 360 is my favorite. The Xbox 360 can play music while you're playing your game. Xbox 360 has achievements for every game, the PS3 has trophies. PS3 has free online play (Which you already know) and it also depends what games you like, if you like Halo get the Xbox 360. PS3 has built-in Blue Ray and the Xbox 360 doesn't have built-in Blue Ray, your decision.

Thanks for your opinions everyone. I've been looking at bundles and I'm seeing some really fantastic PS3 deals, so I'll likely go with that.

I'm not too worried about the inevitable PS4, it's at least a year off, and will likely be pretty pricey, plus PS3 has been out for years and will have more and better games than the newborn PS4.
