Connor: "Ugh... what?" *Gets up and realizes he's in a lab* "Where am I?"

Professor Spruce: "Ah Connor, you're awake!"

Connor: "Who the hell are you?"

Professor Spruce: "Oh, those bandits must've hit you and Bean pretty hard"

Connor: "Who's Bean?" *Looks at the other boy sprawled across the floor*

Professor Spruce: "Wow, it must've been really bad if you don't remember Jack"

Connor: "Who's Jack?"

Professor Spruce: "Jack is Bean"

Connor: "As in Jack and the beanstalk? Are you trying to annoy me, old man?" *Reaches out for his Pokeballs* "WHAT!?! THEY'RE GONE!"

Professor Spruce: "Yes, like I said, Bandits attacked the lab and stole pretty much every Pokemon"

Connor: "Why?"

Jack: "Yeah, why?"

Professor Spruce: "How long have you been awake?"

Jack: "Since the start of this conversation, how ya doing, Connor?"

Connor: "Pretty bad considering I don't even know who you are, where's Metabro? Or Lizardo?"

Jack: "He's already told you like 7 times. THEY'RE GONE. BANDITS TOOK THEM!"

Connor: "Then let's go outside and track them down! The police will help"

Professor Spruce: "I'm afraid the police no longer exist"

Connor: "WHAT!?!"

Jack: "You really don't remember? There was a zombie apocalypse three days before we were attacked by bandits"

Connor: "So... all my family are dead? HOW THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN!?!"

Professor Spruce: "The Elite 4s and Champions of the regions tried to cover up a rogue outbreak of PokeRus that effected humans and Pokemon, when effected you'd turn into... well, zombies"

Jack: "Since they covered it up, nearly everyone in the Shogan region is dead, our home region, nearly destroyed"

Professor Spruce: "Which is why I neede you two awake, so that you could go around the region and find other survivors"

Jack: "How!?! Our Pokemon are gone and there are only two of us!"

Professor Spruce: "I've got both of those problems fixed, Lindsay!"

*LeafLindsay comes in with a three Pokeballs*

Professor Spruce: "Inside two of those Pokeballs, there are a very rare type of shiny Torchic known as a 420YOLOTorchic, in the other there is a Hot N Spicy shiny Dratini, also incredibly rare"

Lindsay: "The Dratini's mine, by the way have fun with your 24Chickens"

Jack: "Sweet..."

Professor Spruce: "Are you ready?"

Connor: "No"

Professor Spruce: "Okay, go!" *Pushes them out of the lab*

Jack: "Well... we're screwed"

Connor: "Well... I've got no food or water"

*A back pack flies out of the lab door and lands at their feet*

Jack: "Okay?"

Lindsay: "I think we should look at your Pokemon"

*They send them out, Lindsay's Dratini is shiny, Bean's Torchic is green and Connor's Torchic is teal*

Connor: "What's up with the weird colours?"

Jack: "Well, they are apparently a rare type of Torchic"

*A horde of zombie trainers and zombie Pokemon are stumbling towards them*

Connor: "Jesus Christ on a bicycle! There's actual zombies!"

Lindsay: "Actually, Arceus on a Mareep"

Connor: "How would he even be able to-?"

Jack: "Guys, don't you think we should kill these zombies first?"

Connor: "YEAH! USE SCRATCH!"

*It cuts into a zombie Buizel's flesh, but it continues moving towards them, unphased*

Jack: "Well, Scratch doesn't do crap"

Lindsay: "Dratini! Dragon Rage!"

*The zombie Buizel gets smashed by it and crumbles apart*

Connor: "That's all well and good, but there's like 50 zombies here so... RUN!"

Jack: "I don't think we have a good chance of doing that"

*Another horde is coming from the other direction*

Zombie Beldum: "BZZZZZK" *Launches it self at Connor*

???: "Focus Punch"

*A Breloom smashes the zombie Belsum into the sky like a rocket*

*An Electrode rolls in and smashes some zombies away*

Connor: "Wait, what?"

*Some of the zombies that were coming from the other direction get electrocuted*

???: "Get out of here!"

*A Shiny Charizard swoops down and picks Connor, Jack and Lindsay up*

Lindsay: "What the hell was all that?"

*A Dragonite flies up carrying some other people*

Connor: "Uhh.... hi?"

???: "We just saved your life and all you have to say is hi?"

???: "Considering they don't know who we are, I think they have an excuse, Jill"

Jill: "Well, even so, if it wasn't for us a Beldum would've ripped through that guy like a bullet"

???: "How about we introduce our selves to them?"

Jill: "The name's Jill"

???: "I'm little5"

???: "The name's Ian, that Electrode was mine"

???: "I'm PokeCat, and this Charizard is mine"

???: "You can call me arrggg"

Jack: "So... are those like codenames? I'm Jack, by the way"

PokeCat: "Sort of, anyway, who are the other two?"

Connor: "I'm Connor, and thanks for the save back there"

Lindsay: "I'm Lindsay"

Jill: "You guys wouldn't have been any of those things if we hadn't saved you, you'd be zombie food"

Ian: "Could you cut them some slack?"

PokeCat: "Anyway, when we get back to our base we could give you spare Pokemon to help you, there aren't too many in the wild anymore"
