I am optimistic, enthusiastic, and very cool. One of my favorite movies is the Hulk 1 (2003 version). This signature is old. . . .

carlos11 (2014-12-31 20:44:24)Why are there two separate competitions?
Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.
CoolApps (2014-12-31 20:52:09)^ You mean the other one on this forum?
I didn't expect that one to be there. Since I had an idea of doing this, I went ahead.

CoolApps (2015-01-01 02:49:49)^ A little confused here.
The main URL is the domain you're currently using and wanting to get rid of. The wish URL is supposed to be the URL you want to end up with after.
I've checked with the .tk version of your wish domain and it redirects to your Plaza profile, which unfortunately can't count as that defeats the purpose of this compeition.

CoolApps (2015-01-03 02:53:45)Rules updated and added a few extras to make things clear.
You're missing a few things, LulzSecZ. Main thing I have to point out is rule 13 and maybe some more has been breached and therefore I cannot accept that submission.
I know that the rules are becoming more strict, but people keep on attempting to get around them so I have to add more detail and more things.
All I'm expecting is an actual coded site with actual effort put into by the owner and / or team.
The whole point of this competition is to reward a web developer who is stuck with a free domain and deserves that special thing they need / want because of their great effort.
I know there's many around Plaza, but some didn't seem to find this thread, yet.

Leviathan (2015-01-06 19:22:19)I would enter. But I already have a .com domain.

I'm an open book, there are few questions I won't answer honestly, no matter how embarrassing.

Hello. Welcome to the best website competition thread.
I want to help someone out who really deserves a boost for their site, so I've created this competition.
-------------------------------------
What's the point of this?:
The aim here is to find the best web developer (who enters), review their site, suggest any improvements to help chances and see who really deserves the prize (prize info is below with why it's important).
-------------------------------------
The rules:
1) Site must be originally coded by the owner.
2) No site builders, forum software, CMS (content management system, such as Wordpress [no exceptions]). This would include any website under the rainbow that has barely been coded by the owner.
3) Site MUST not contain adult content, especially links to it (an exception could be if it was a spammer, if so then it's expected to be cleaned up ASAP).
4) Site must have good grammar and spelling (try to remove as much typos as possible if there are any). You can always tell me to have a look at it again. This of course excludes user posts. If the site intentionally uses bad grammar or / and spelling because of something such as a meme, then it would be nice if it's made clear so that the site has that rule excluded.
5) The UI must be easy enough to follow, look awesome, be able to read easily, fit on different screen sizes and make sense (not burning your retinas). Just make it look right and not fugly. The mobile / PC type of UI would get you a better chance.
6) The site must be public and usable. (The root of the site [/] will be looked at along with any paths you provide such as any demo's if any. (Demo's will be allowed some time for corrections that have been suggested. If it takes too long to update, doesn't at all, or there's no other updated demo [newer] then there's a chance of it being rejected.)
7) No illegal uses. (Phishing, Warez [getting paid scripts for free, cracked or nulled], ...)
8) Don't copy parts of other sites without the original script developer's permission (may want to look at rule 17).
9) You must obey the web host rules.
10) Must be secure; we'll do tests depending on the site (consider this as a free security check). If there's any holes found, it has to be fixed (we'll help out) or it can't be continued.
11) A team member (who helped coded the site), co-owner or anyone that's involved in that site's development can enter the competition. They however must have proof that the original owner, account holder or the person hosting the site wants to enter (screenshots are not sufficient when it comes to the web browser so I would need a link to look at) or the entry will be rejected.
12) Has to be directly linked to a site (not a redirect).
13) If you already have a TLD set on the domain name you want to change from, then that site hooked with it is not eligible.
14) Only one site in the entry.
15) If there's no appropriate reason of having an index (a list that displays the files in the directory because there's no index or default file) then it won't be looked at thirder and the entry may get rejected.
16) The current site will be the one that is going to be linked with the requested one. This means no saying random sites that won't be to do with the requested domain.
17) You can use SMALL snippets of code from tutorial sites or anything like Github and StackOverflow, this means sites that use mostly snippets will be rejected. You can modify it if you want. You cannot however copy codes from someone else's site without their permission. Obviously, you're allowed to use PHP / JavaScript libraries.
The rules can change at any time even without placing them on this thread.
-------------------------------------
Who are the judges?:
1) CoolApps (me)
2) (Capt.)Orb
3) Justin
Note: We will be VERY honest, so be prepared for constructive criticism, if you do enter.
-------------------------------------
What will the judges be looking into?:
- See if any of the rules are being met.
- Use their minds to see if anything looks right or wrong.
-------------------------------------
How to become a judge?:
You can contact me via PM or use my contact methods using the link in my sig.
-------------------------------------
The prize is a TLD (Top Level Domain).
Here are the ones that would be offered (only one can be picked):
*.uk (.uk, .co.uk..) 1 - 2 Year(s)
.com 1 - 2 Year(s)
.net 1 - 2 Year(s)
.org 1 - 2 Year(s)
.info 1 - 2 Year(s)
Important stuff:
The site has to remain up for at least a year (after domain has been purchased and set up). If you want to pay for the domain yourself and have control of it at some point then I can transfer it to you. Note that I cannot help pay for the second year once it's done, if the domain isn't over 1 years old.
Nameserver change? I can do the changes if you need to. The TAG must not change unless again, you want it transferred to you so that you can manage it yourself and pay for it.
-------------------------------------
Why should I enter?:
These TLD's are popular and therefore would help gain more trust in users to visit your site. It's more professional. No limits (see below). Plus, It's short!
-------------------------------------
I already have a free domain. Still, why?:
Free domains are good for small project sites but if you want your site to grow, free domains can be an issue.
Many free sites have a free domain attached to them, though some are bad, so that's where the loss of trust comes in.
An example of a free domain service would be dot.tk. You know it, right?
They will redirect a free domain to an advertisement if your site gets a lot of hits (AKA users).
Similar case to reports. That good, right? Not exactly. If a false report comes in, they won't check your site and will just suspend access to the site through that domain. Simple as that.
-------------------------------------
How do I enter?:
It's simple. Either post your submission in the comments or PM me. Fastest way out of those options would be PM. You can visit my website in my signature and use the contact methods from there, Kik would really make things fast.
--------------------------------------
Deadline?:
Because of how long sites take to be developed, there's currently no deadline as of now. I may add it soon.
Best to hand your submissions in ASAP regardless so that improvements can be suggested and therefore getting you a better chance.
--------------------------------------
How should be my entry be laid out (ideally)?:
Hello, I would like to have a TLD because [reason why you should have one].
My current (sub-)domain is [the (sub-)domain you're currently using] and I would like my requested domain to be [enter the domain you want WITH the domain extension, such as .com].
--------------------------------------
Who is currently in?:
