I sorta kinda disagreed.

The reason given for closing this thread included the assumption that the topic of discussion has potential to result in "drama". With that, I agree, however I do not agree that this alone is grounds for moderation. Such potential create drama, in my expert opinion, is present in every thread and is more often than not almost entirely negligible. Any thread whose topic of discussion involves anything from sports teams, music, or even favorite (or least favorite) users may see the expression of strong opinions. Furthermore, whether or not a thread may harbor negative sentiments and give rise to a hostile environment is ultimately not up to the thread itself, the topic of discussion, or the thread's creator but the behavior of the users participating in the discussion themselves.

For these reasons, the moderation has been nullified. Now that I've exhausted my veto power, if the decision is to be overriden, it must be by the hand of another moderator not present here.
