I see a lot of people don't like Flat out hate the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise... Why?

Nobody ever gives a reason as to why "the game is crap". But for whatever reason, trust you plazians to give me the real reason.

The only conclusion I could come to, was because the games are 2d rendered, something pretty unheard of in the horror genre, and the fact that it got so popular, despite that fact.

Em. A lot of people keep on playing it and you just keep on seeing it all over the place.

Let's put it this way: when you listen to a song in a loop for a bit, it starts to get boring though after a long break from it, it would be less boring. If you keep listening to it all over again but constantly repeated then you would find it VERY boring and a long time after that would still find it boring.

You should've seen YT now and in the past when people went insane over it.

It's basically jumpscares, but that's not the only reason. It's that he had to make a new one. I followed the story when I was a fan. It's just that it had to stop at the third one.

The hate pretty much consists of the fact that the game is overrrated because of multiple users keep on showing the world constantly that they're still playing which makes it very boring. It's like Minecraft but fortunately most video game commentators don't play Minecraft anymore.

Really, don't be a fanboy and be honest.

The games aren't that good, and the fandom is cancerous. Seriously, people just need to shut up about the game already.

It's pretty half-assed for a horror game. The underlying plot is fairly basic, and the only thing that makes it interesting is the fact that it's segmented and hidden from the player.
