Hello. I'm here to tell you how you can increase your skill with a riffle and/or bow! Now, with me going into the Army, this is a valuable skill, one I charish.
Before I begin, let me say that this may not work with everyone. This method works for me, and for alot of snipers.
Lets begin!

Step 1.0...
Perfect weather, bad shot

Most people will only practice when its nice outside, or when they are mad, they shoot to calm themselves down. Well, both are big no no's. Why, you ask? Lets talk about the first.

1.1
Weather Shooter

You should try to shoot in all types of weather: rain, snow, cold and heat. And if you plan on joining the Army, I cannot stress it enough. You never know where you will be deployed, wether its in Afghanistan, or Japan. During the cold, you should wear gloves while you shoot. If you train under harsh conditions, it will be natural when you face these same conditions you trained under. But, if there is perfect weather, then it will make your shooting seem like taking candy from a baby. So next time it starts to rain, go out and shoot.

1.2
Anger Management

Do not go out to the range to shoot if you are distressed, or mad. Not only is it dangerous, but you can easily loose skill by doing it. Good shooting is mainly dependent on muscle memory. If you shoot a round of 22's and miss, your more than likely to miss when your calm. You need to go there happy and ready. It may seem trivial, but trust me, a happy shoot, is a good shooter.

2.0
Perfect practice makes Perfect

I was doing some research on the greatest archers of all time, and a result I was happy with, was the Samurai archers. The reason why they where so fierce was because they had a perfect training method. When they first woke up, the had breakfast, and then did something that calmed the nerves. They wrote poetry, did art, talked with family. Then when their nerves where settled, they went out to practice. "10 arrows, 10 bull's-eyes" is where this saying comes from. They put their target at a very close range to where they could shoot a bull's-eye from. After they get that bull's-eye, they would move it a little farther. Then they would continue to shoot until they hit a bull's-eye. Then move it a little bit more. They did that until they got 10 bull's-eyes. They walk in a success, and walk out a success. They only shoot until they get that bull's-eye, then they move their target. This spends time working on things that need work. That is why they have been named the great archers of the world.

Conclusion

Well, this is the conclusion of this lesson. Like I said before, this doesn't work for everyone. Just remember one thing: "Practice does not make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect."

@Erman, nutsy and little Yes, it does. Its one of the things I love about America(and Texas) is that I can walk anywhere with a gun, even my rifle.

@mega Thanks.

@Gamesaddict43 There are alot of teens who shoot deer, rabbit, ect. Rabbit is hard, because of their small kill zone. This method works on shooting anything, not just people. And to answer your question, yes I do.
