If you could see or direct one film sequel to any film you feel deserved one, what would it be?

For me, it would either be a sequel to the Super Mario Bros. movie, or to 2012s 'Dredd.' Unfortunately, both flopped at the box office, and their film sequels have since been scrapped.

It's not a duplicate thread, dip. If you can't tell the difference between a sequel (a continuation of an established story) and a reboot/remake (starting a story over from scratch), you'd only be as stupid as a mod that closes this.

I'd say Inception but I feel like if they made a sequel it'd be crappy or pointless, kind of like The Matrix's. I only say Inception because of the cliffhanger at the end. But I don't really see what else they can do to make a second movie.
