NodePoint (2017-01-19 10:09:49)Fun fact: if the domain isn't renewed by that date, it'll still be up under Rob's account in a renewal grace period but he won't be able to edit information under it until renewed and it would remain pointing here for 5 days after expiration. This period would take a month and a half and it would give Rob 3 weeks to renew it without adding the massive charge (redemption fee) if he is quick enough. If he ends up in the situation where he has to or he loses the domain.. yeah.. it's probably going to be a bit of a sticky situation.
In layman's terms: Rob would have 3 weeks after expiration to renew it for a normal price. If he doesn't make it in time, he might not bother paying the huge fee. The domain would be up for 5 days after expiration before being automatically and forcefully parked.

This is basically the last DSi/3DS site that I visit. Pretty much every other place has died out and/or doesn't exist.

Plaza's expiration date is supposedly 1/31/17. Do you all think it will actually happen, or do you think Rob will renew it? What are your thoughts on the whole thing? Personally, I wouldn't care if it expired or not. What about you guys?
