I would also recommend you guys use your skill points in the middle or left column. You can unlock super jump and wings in the middle skill tree.

But the goal of the game is to the the cheese and bring it back to the hole. Sounds simple, but it really isn't. A certain player designated in each stage has to build structures to guide the other players to it and back. This can lead to hilarity, or the special player can just murder them if they want. It's fun.
Also it's called Transformice because of certain stages that never come up, so the title is almost irrelevant.
Maybe this will clear things up for people.
