I actually use deodorant for men becuase most (if not all) female deodorants contain antiperspirant which can supposedly increase your risk for cancer and yadda yadda yadda.... Not the most ideal product I use but hey it works.

As for shampoo/soap...you really never smell that unless you JUST got fresh out of the shower. Within an hour or so you'll likely be "scentless". Are there really any "manly" shampoos anyway? Real men don't wash their hair.

So yeah, when it comes to grooming products, I don't think it's a big deal what you use, as long as it gets the job done...

But it is really weird when girls specifically buy guy underwear/boxers for themselves...or shoes, sometimes.
