To clarify, I did see that video, but not the version with John Cena at the end. So, I assumed that the topic was pretend emos.
As for John Cena videos; No, I'm not annoyed by them.
Boo (2015-11-10 13:49:42)Suicide is the stupidest thing ever. It is extremely selfish and does nothing to help the human population to survive. If you commit suicide it doesn't even matter if God exists, you are a whiny baby thaat nothing can or ever will cater to.
oof
@Boo people aren't in their right mind when they're willing to take their own lives. You need to do proper research before you assume that people will a mental illness are able to always think rationally at all times.

If mostly the damaged commit suicide, then wouldn't suicide be killing the weak, thus helping humans grow stronger by not allowing them to breed or waste resources

@PerfectChaos
I wouldn't be entirely sure Boo is trolling. People on this website tend to be pretty misinformed when it comes to anything phsycology or politics.
Oh. Well in that case, I never denied that I was indeed fooled by his clever little shenanigans, but I assumed the video he posted was one I had seen before without John Cena, which is why I went off topic. I was just clarifying.

I've had the misfortune of seeing that video many times and others like it. It's not just those people who dye their hair black and post their "stories" on the internet, it's roughly 90% of the population too. Everybody thinks they have some unique story that makes them more experienced when it comes to emotional pain. Everyone thinks that their story is unique, that not many have one like it.
If you are one of these people you think has a unique story, unique problems and a harder life than most people, just sit down one day and listen. Listen to people talk. They will say the exact same lines you did at one point. Their "stories" will sound almost identical to yours, although it seemed unique to you when you formulated those thoughts. You'll notice how exaggerated their "stories" are, and realize that yours is the same way.
Keep paying attention though, because it gets worse. You will see people who may or may not have legitimate problems, who try to reach out in subtle ways. Yes, you may think that this is what you do, but if you've been observing people, you will have noticed the fakes who think they themselves have a unique story attempting to be "subtle" and say they are not ok. You will look at that and realize you are doing the same thing, and that just like you can tell it's fake, people can tell when you're being fake.
When you pretend pull up your sleeve, thinking/hoping that people will notice and think "of he's/she's hiding his her cutting scars!" or when you try to make your face look sad, which is just absolutely cringe inducing to everyone else around you, or when you, etc. All those things, you will see others doing the same. You will see that your silly little ideas are not original and that they are easier to detect by others than you think.
Back to the people who might have legitimate problems; when they try reaching out, pay attention. What happens? What do you see? Do you see people attempting to comfort that person? No, you see people like you turning it into a pissing contest. You see people trying to steal the spotlight. You see a person in pain who's trying to reach out and get help from others whose voice is drowned out by many around them who claim that THEY have problems.
Person: I've been kind of stressed and feeling alone lately... It li-l
Person 2: OHHHH ME TOO ME TOO I FEEL SO LONELY AND DEPRESSED ITS BEVAUSE I AM ALWAYS BULLIED AND I CUT MYSELF AND I-
Person 3: DID SOMBODY SAY DEPRESSED!? I AM THAG WAY BECAUSE MY LIFE IS SO HARD.
Person 4: Hey, who wants to hear MY story?!
Person 2: Oh, yeah, you guys are cool and all but in second grade I lost my best friend when...
Person 4: This one time I had no friends and....
Person 3: I tried to kill myself this one time....
"Blah blah blah blah my problems blah blah blah blah I feel so alone blah blah"
Person 1: ......
How 'bout we all stop trying to look like we have special problems and stories that nobody else has. That said, this isn't directed towards everyone.
Edit: I have more to rant about. There's been a common theme lately of people's "stories". There are people not only claiming to be depressed, but also saying that they are CURING OTHER PEOPLE of depression or helping them with their problems.
These people view themselves as heros. People who go around healing everyone, although they themselves cannot be healed. Even adults fabricate these crazy ass stories about then going around helping people, trying to do nice things for them and at one point of the story they mention that "it doesn't help with my depression/sadness/other cliche plot device that makes me a victim."
But then it gets worse. There are these posts on places like ifunny that are absolutely NARCISSISTIC. They go like this, and I'm not even exaggerating;
"I'm the person who talks people out of suicide, who gives support to those in need, who is kind to strangers, *insert more BS on the list* but I cannot be healed myself."
Oh my god. Christ almighty. What. What. What...... What.
??????????
1. "talk people out of suicide". No hunny, that's not how it works.
2. The obvious bragging. This isn't even humble bragging. This is strait up blatant narcissism. I don't use that term lightly. These people aren't even trying to be subtle. They are loudly announcing this to everyone; hey, everybody! Guess what? I'm depressed, but my depression is special depression that can't be healed. However, even though my life is so hard, I CURE other people's depression. That's right. I CURE it with my words. I talk people out of suicide. I'm just that special and intelligent. I'm so amazing that I can do the impossible. I don't even know how these mental illnesses work, but since I think I have it, I must understand it, right guys? Anyway, I'd love to stay and chat but I have some hardcore healing to do. It sure is hard being a wounded, broken and hopeless human who cannot save himself, but helps others while I myself am hurting. Don't bother trying to heal me. Like I said, my problems are more specialer than yours."
Typing that up killed tons of my brain cells, so I can't finish this rant.
