We now have DSiware, Wiiware, and even a 3DS retail version of Cave Story, but Nintendo platforms still aren't done with Cave Story.
Cave Story is coming to the eshop as a 3DS Download game. It's not the retail 3DS version, it's more like CaveStory+ as it features Curly Mode, Boss Rush, the Wind Fortress and all those other goodies. There is a chance the DSiware version will be removed after this.

I wish I had known this before got Cave Story 3D which has nothing Cave Story+ had.
Call me a sucker, but I'm still getting this.
