Details-The 3DS version has a slightly different story from the console versions, and will have some exclusive tracks/stages taken from previous hand held sonic games. It will also have streetpass and wireless multiplayer. The concerns that the 3DS version is just a watered down version of the console games has been put to rest, Sonic Generations for 3DS is its own unique experience. Also the graphics of the game, while not quite on the level of its HD counterparts, are still very impressive. I will definetly be picking this up.

Unfortunately, the best stage, the return of City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2, was taken out of the 3DS version and replaced by the Emerald Coast stage from the original Sonic Adventure. Why run from that stupid whale when we could have been running from the GUN truck? And it was even going to be remade, too! With CHAINSAWS! Oh, well, at least it's got the Tropical Resort stage from Sonic Colors with the Wisps...

Another thing to mention is that the 3DS version is a 2D side scroller.
