I wanted this badly, but it has nothing that has seriously got my blood rushing and nothing that makes the sweat, tears, and begging to get one worth it. I remember the games the 3DS had announced before it came out, like Kid Icarus: Uprising, Ocarina of Time 3D and Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition, those three games made me buy the system and made all the groveling to my parents worth it.
3DS has an amazingly rich lineup and tons of upcoming and current eshop games, it really is a drain on what money I have, and Wii U games will be even more.

"But dem HD grafix!"

The games I have seen look nice but don't push the system and don't wow me the way stereoscopic 3D did. Wii U doesn't have a launch game that makes use of its graphics like SSFIV 3D on 3DS which had amazing graphics for a launch game.

"But dem awsum nintendo gamez!"

Never got into Pikimin, New Super Mario Bros doesn't excite me like sprite Marios or 3D Marios, Nintendoland doesn't excite me, Wii Fit U makes me laugh. Once Zelda Wii U and SSB4 come out it'll be a buy, but nothing at launch to launch window is convincing me.

Year old ports of 360/PS3 and some upcoming multiplats. I can get PS3/360 cheaper than Wii U.
Scribblenauts I can get on 3DS, further proving my previous point.
Rayman Legends is the only point of interest for me. Don't get me started on Sing and Just Dance 4.

"But thee onlin!"

3DS will have Miiverse.


In short: I'll get a Wii U when some good games that are actually exclusive to the system and aren't lame party games meant for the casual crowd come out.

That's just a small part of Wii U. I really couldn't care less about video chat on a game system.
And I want a source that says 3DS won't have the "full" Miiverse.

Well then you're missing out on a lot. SSB4 and Zelda for the Wii U are not coming out in more than a couple of years. Plus, you don't really know the price of the Wii U yet.

NintendoLand-Causal minigames just meant to give you a feel for the system. No interest.

New Super Mario Bros U-Just another New Super Mario Bros game, can get NSMB 2 on 3DS anyway.

Scribblenauts Unlimited-Can get on 3DS.

Rayman Legends-Interesting, but it's not selling me a $250+ system.

Pikmin 3-Same as Legends.

Port with gimmicky controls. Yes, they are gimmicky. I've also been hearing the Wii U version doesn't even look as good as the 360/PS3 versions.

Anyways, IGN just played the version at E3, and the people at the booth were saying the game wasn't in its final form. The graphics could improve.
